Job Qualification Requirements:
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school (or G.E.D.) and a four (4) year degree from an accredited U.S. college or university with no less than four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a U.S. international airport operations of which two (2) years pertain to supervisory experience.
Shall have no record of felony or criminal conviction.

Responsible for the supervision and functions, including safety, of the aircraft operation areas (AOA) at the Saipan International Airport.
Examples of Duties
- Assigns and directs the activities of the entire AOA.
- Instructs subordinates and members of airlines and CPA tenants on the proper practices and procedures in AOA, e.g. equipment movements, vehicle movements, handling of CPA equipment and facilities, ramp operations, gates and jetway operations, passenger movements.
- Applies detailed procedures and manuals at the Operations Department.
- Reorganizes work to increase effectiveness, productivity, and job satisfaction.
- Justifies substantial changes to assignments, activities, priorities and/or services.
- Ensures safety measures and standards are followed.
- Enforces AOA measures and responds quickly to irregular or emergency situations.
- Applies performance standards and written instructions or procedures.
- Enforces AOA rules and requirements in AOA.
- Submits inspection reports on a regular basis as required by CPA.
- Applies theories, methods and techniques necessary for favorable results.
- Participates in AOA training programs.
- Ensures compliance with applicable local, FAA standards, OSHA and CPA regulations.
- Attends emergency drills.
- Participates in airport hazardous material control program.
- Reports safety and OSHA violations incidents and situations on a timely basis for immediate corrective action.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
